In the US, there are common stereotypes for different types of people. While some of those stereotypes might be offensive, there are some that are meant to be fun.

It’s a typical “dad” stereotype. “Dad shoes” are those chunky, bulky shoes that dads (in the US mostly) used to wear when wewere younger.
这其实就是典型的美国人对于“爹地”的刻板印象。
“老爹鞋”指的是美国小孩小时候，爸爸们敲爱穿的那种又厚又大的鞋。

“Dad jokes” are these corny jokes, mostly one-lined puns, told by American dads.

The thing about these jokes is that they are considered uncool and not really funny…but they’re so not funny that they actually become kind of funny!

Explanation: “Knows” is a synonym for “nose”, so “nobody knows” sounds like “no body nose” (no body no nose).

Explanation: sometimes when writers release a new book, they can call it “launch”, but it can also be used to “hurl” something.

At first glance, it sounds like he is saying that he writes booksfor kids 9-12, but then the second half just tells that he meant that he throw the books at the kids!
读前半句的时候你以为他说的是他发行了一本给9-12岁孩子看的书，但下半句的意思是“他把一本书直接zhuai向小熊孩子。”

Explanation: “Spot” has multiple meanings: it can refer to the “spots” as the “spotted patterns”, or it can mean to be seen.

Explanation: normally you would use “left” to say “go away”, but of course you know it is also used as a direction. Because this guy has no sense of direction, instead of saying “packed up and left”, he says “packed up and right”.
解释下：“left”和“go away”都是离开的意思，当然也有“左边”的意思。
这孩子太没方向感，以至于他把“收好东西并准备离家出走（and left）”说成了“收拾东西and right（右边）”。
